SEMINAR WITH EMERITUS PROFESSOR ALINE-WENDY DUNLOP
She give a speech about Scottish Government Policy..... i realized that Early Childhood Education in other country is very high level profession compare to Malaysia..... In other country like Scotland, every childhood educator must have qualification...minimum qualification for early childhood educator is master.......But in Malaysia, to be a teacher for early childhood, there is no high qualification needed... SPM graduated also can be a early childhood educator....but,, this situation does not happen in government preschool... there are certain preschool is still doesn't care about early childhood teacher's qualification.
In this seminar i also learn a few character about autism children... in this slot Emeritus Prof. Aline-Wendy Dunlop share her improving the quality of life and outcomes for people for all age with autism. .. ..there are a few characteristic to recognize autisme children:

This seminar was held in 7th and 8th of March 2012. It take place in Auditorium Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) and organised by Department of Early Childhood Education and Special Education, Faculty of Education and Human Development, UPSI.....
Professor Aline-Wendy Dunlop is one of the Dr Nordin's lecturer which is Dr Nordin's favourite mentor. She is like his own family member..... When Emeritus Professor Aline come to Malaysia to visit Dr Nordin, Dr Nordin decide to take the opportunity to organized a Seminar to all Early Childhood Education student in UPSI from sem 1 to sem 6.....as a sem 6 student, we are the eldest and senior in that seminar...wow.. time is short...hahaha.. i dont realize that i'm already in sem 6..... being a sem 6 student is not the term that can be proud. because for me.. there are many thing that i have to learn here.. (nk start merapu)... hehe.. ok2.. back to our topic...Dr Nordin hope we can absorb so many knowlegde form Professor Emeritus Aline Wendy Dunlop because she have a lot of experience dealing with children....
The 1st day going well. I'm so excited to meet her. ....I think she look younger than her actual age....she still look healthy and active... Here is some biographical summary about Emeritus Professor Aline-Wendy Dunlop achievement based in the School of Education, University of Strathclyde Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Jordin Hill Campus, Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. She now provide leadership in teaching and learning and in applied educational research.. ...She continues to supervise PhD and MSc student, currently External Examiner for the BA (Hons) Early Childhood at Dublin Institude of Technology. She continuing support in 4 project:

3) The Scottis Autism Network

- very little and no eye contact
- resistance to be held or touched
- obsession with objects, ideas or desires
- play is often repetitive
- speech is abnormally loud or quiet
- prefer to be alone, aloft and overly-friendly
